
Pavlova (dessert) image
Pavlova is a meringue cake with whipped cream and tropical fruit topping. It was invented in 1935 by Chef Herbert Sachse at the Esplanade Hotel in Perth, Western Australia as a tribute to the great ballerina Anna Pavlova.
